Denver-- DiNK this weekend!



If you're in Colorado, head over to Denver this weekend (March 25-26) for DiNK at the Sherman Street Event Center (1770 Sherman St.)!

I'll be there hawking books at my table, and will also be on a Historical Comics panel Friday at 5:45pm alongside Box Brown, Joel Gill, Ben Towle, and moderator Damian Burford

IDAHO-- Boise Library Comic Con this Saturday!

I'm excited to be at the Boise Library Comic Con this weekend-- it'll be from 10-5 on Saturday at the main branch (715 S. Capitol Blvd.).

I'll be selling and signing books all day at my table, and doing a panel at 1:15 pm (Marion Bingham Room, 3rd Floor) about my work. Also be sure to check out my comics buds Emi Lenox, Farel Dalrymple, and Theo Ellsworth!

San Diego Comic Con schedule & CBLDF artwork auction!

I'm just about to join 97% of my cartoonist peeps in San Diego for Comic-Con International 2015-- I'll generally be found at Top Shelf's booth (#1721), signing copies of two new books-- You Don't Say and March: Book Two-- along with all the rest.



Here's my schedule of signings/panels/goings-on:

THURS 7/9: at Top Shelf booth all day.

FRI 7/10: at Top Shelf booth most of the day, plus discussing You Don't Say and March: Book Two at the Top Shelf spotlight panel from 12-1pm in Room 23ABC.

SAT 7/11: 
   *March panel (with John Lewis & Andrew Aydin). 10-11am, Room 23ABC.
   *March signing (with John Lewis & Andrew Aydin). 11:15am-1pm, Top Shelf booth (#1721).
   *March signing (with JL & AA). 3-4:30pm, IDW booth (#2743).

SUN 7/12:
   *March signing (with JL & AA), 10:30-11:30am, Top Shelf booth.
   *March event off-site at Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation (w/ JL & AA), 3:30-4:45pm.



I'll also have this page from The Silence Of Our Friends (written by Mark Long & Jim Demonakos; First Second, 2012) up for auction to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. It'll be Saturday, July 11th from 8-10pm at the Bayfront Hilton.

San Diego Comic-Con 2014!



I'll be in San Diego at Comic-Con International this Thursday through Sunday, selling and signing books at the Top Shelf booth (#1721). 

March: Book One is nominated for 3 Eisner Awards (Best Artist, Best Publication For Teens, Best Reality-Based Work)-- come out to the awards ceremony on Friday night, and wish us good luck!

I'll also be discussing the forthcoming March: Book Two and You Don't Say at the Top Shelf spotlight panel, Friday from 12:00-1:00 pm in Room 32AB. See you there!

Toronto Comic Arts Festival this weekend!

I'll be in Toronto for TCAF this weekend (May 10-11), signing books at the Top Shelf booth (#228-230; on the 2nd floor, straight back as you enter the big exhibitors' room).

I'll also be a part of this panel on Sunday afternoon:

Miami Book Fair this weekend!

If you're in Florida, come down to the Miami Book Fair International this weekend-- I'll be doing the following presentations and signings:

Friday, Nov. 22nd: presentation with John Lewis & Andrew Aydin. 6:00 pm in the Chapman Building (Building 3, 2nd Floor, Room 3210). Signing immediately afterward.

Saturday, Nov. 23rd:  "Crime And Consequence" with Matt Kindt (discussing Red Handed and his other fine books) and I (discussing Any Empire, The Silence Of Our Friends, and March). 12:00 pm in the Centre Gallery (Building 1, 3rd Floor, Room 1365). Signing immediately afterward.

Saturday, Nov. 23rd: Signing at Tate's Comics booth, 1:30-2:30 pm.

Wizard World Chicago this weekend!

If you're in the Chicago area, I'll be at Wizard World Chicago (Donald E. Stephens convention center in Rosemont, IL) this Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11! Come see me at Booth B10-- I'll be selling books (including March, a few days ahead of its release date) and selling original artwork (including originals from March).

I'll also be participating in the "Pitfalls Of Writing" panel (alongside Steven Grant, Scott Snyder, Jay Bonansinga, and Chloe Neill), Saturday at noon in Room 34.

San Diego Comic Con schedule-- signings & panels!

If you'll be at the gargantuan mind-shredder that is Comic Con International next week, I'll see you there! Come see me anytime at the Top Shelf booth (#1721)-- Brand-new copies of March: Book One will be there, and I'll also have the rest of my books and a ton of original artwork for sale.

Here are the special panels and signings I'll be doing as well:

THURSDAY, JULY 18:

5:00-7:00 pm: Drawing with tons of other artists on The Blank Page Project, with artwork auctioned off later to benefit The Hero Initiative (helping take care of our fellow creators, as many of us have no safety net, pension, retirement, health resources, etc.). This will happen outside in the back of the Vela restaurant at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront hotel (next door to the convention center).

SATURDAY, JULY 20:

10:00-11:00 am: March panel with John Lewis and Andrew Aydin. Room 23ABC.

12:00-1:00 pm: Top Shelf spotlight panel w/ Leigh Walton, Chris Ross, Shannon Wheeler, Mark Russell, Jeffrey Brown, Zander Cannon, Kevin Cannon, Andrew Aydin, and Rob Harrell. Room 4.

2:30-4:15 pm: signing at Top Shelf booth with John Lewis and Andrew Aydin.

4:30-5:30 pm: "Comics And Prose: The Graphic Novel Hybrid" panel with Jeffrey Brown, Cecil Castellucci, Tom King, Jim Pascoe, and Janet Tashjian. Room 26AB.

SUNDAY, JULY 21:

10:30 am-12:00 pm: signing at Top Shelf booth with John Lewis and Andrew Aydin.

1:00-3:00 pm: signing at Top Shelf booth with John Lewis and Andrew Aydin.

Graphic Arts & Social Change panel June 11th in Washington DC!

If you're in the DC area, I'll be participating in a panel entitled "Visualizing Peace: Graphic Arts & Social Change" organized by Search For Common Ground. The panel will also feature my March collaborator Andrew Aydin, Dalia Ziada (Egyptian human rights activist, and director of the Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies), and SFCG moderator Jeanne´ Isler.

It's happening Tuesday, June 11th from 9:30-11:30 am at the Johns Hopkins University SAIS Kenney Auditorium (1740 Massachusetts Ave. NW). I'm pretty sure you've gotta register ahead of time, so please sign up here!
